Welcome to ADaughterHeart.com — a blog dedicated to encouraging, sharing, and fostering a genuine community among women.

Hi, I’m Shavonne — a Christian, wife, mom, and entrepreneur. I launched my first blog in 2013, with one goal in mind: to earn an income and eventually leave a full-time job behind. I gained some traction with it, but it wasn’t sustainable and I felt something was missing. Deep down, I knew there was greater purpose for my life. I realized I didn’t want to just simply write to make an income — I wanted my work to serve a deeper, more meaningful purpose and reach other such as myself. At the time I wasn’t a mom, but in 2015, I became a mom. So, over the years the passion to help other women in their journeys has grown even more.

That desire has led to the birth of this blog A Daughter’s Heart — and A Daughter’s Heart Candles. It hasn’t always been easy figuring out how to bring these visions together, but I’m so grateful that God placed the inspiration in my heart to begin again. Both are a work in progress and still in the infancy stage, but I’m looking forward to the growth ahead.

My prayer is that this space blesses and encourages you. Thank you for being here — I hope you’ll walk with me on this journey. 💛
